| Mom's doing great. Thanks for all the prayers and support. I didn't realize how many loving people were behind our family till this year, which could've been rough if it hadn't have been for all the support.
I remember on New Years Eve declaring "It's 2006: The year that we thought would never come!" Well it came. In a way it's dragged by and at the same time flew by. I've only got one more day of high school, and it just feels so weird. Wow! I've finally made it to the place I've been working towards since kindergarden. And woah, I'll never go back. Just an odd feeling. Yes odd is a good word for it.
| Well....it's been a while.
I've been busy with all the crazy paperwork and schoolwork and just stuff going on this time of year. This is one of the first afternoons that I've been able to come home and actually do nothing...kinda nice. But, business isn't completely to blame for my absence. My internet activity has wanned seriously. Kellie did convince me, though, to join back in because it will serve as a good line of communication starting August 27 or something like that. I've just about caved into myspace, which I'm in the process of making and have been for about a month. Yea it's taken me a while, and I know that it's probably already falling off now that I've finally jumped on the bandwagon.--Speaking of bandwagon, one time I was at a football game getting all my band nerd stuff together when the other team's band walked by and they had a big wagon and on that wagon in big letters it said "BAND" they had a genuine band wagon (well that was kinda pointless)--I don't even know if people are still doing the xanga thing or not, but since I've fallen off the face of the earth people probably won't be reading mine anymore. If anyone is reading this I have one thing to say:
22 MORE DAYS!!! | | |
| Words of Advice: Don't get too busy, it'll definitely catch up with you and before you know it you'll be on the floor at a blood drive when you haven't even given blood (now sam's most memorable senior experience or so she tells me). | | |
| Anyone want to go to Six Flags tomorrow for less than half price? did I spell tomorrow right?
Wow. This is like the first Spring Break in the last like five years that I actually have something to do everyday. Dont get me wrong, I love a break here or there, but it just get's boring after a couple of days. But then again being busy and doing stuff gets a little tiring after a couple of days. Guess I just dont like to be in one place for too long. Come to think of it, I can't even think about one thing for very long. Maybe I have some form of ADlook there's a chicken!
| What is this new infatuation that everyone seems to have with MySpace?!?!?
Like half of my BCIS class is on My Space while most of the others play internet games and a small minority-including myself-work on their powerpoint in an OCD manner. Really, what makes My Space so dad-gum appealing? I really don't know...I'm still one of those xanga losers.
Oh well, lost cause I guess - like trying to keep drama out of high school. I don't know if any of you know this but I am an antidramatist. I don't like drama, and I prefer to live without it. I think that if you don't make your life dramatic, it won't be. But, high school, of wich I am a member, thrives on drama and gossip. All this drama swirling around me and I'm trying to escape from it. AAAAAHHHH! It's scary.
One thing I don't get is the whole gossip/rumor/talking behind someone's back deal. It's like a never ending process. Someone says something behind so-and-so's back to what's-her-face, so what's-her-face has to tell so-and-so that someone was talking about her behind her back, and then so-and-so tells friend1 and friend2 that someone said something behind her back when she is actually now the one guilty of gossip cause she's talking behind someone's back. It's never ending!
High School: I'm ready to leave yet scared to do so. This is paradoxical senior life people.
Foot note: I am aware of the many gramatical errors and not-really-a-word words in this entry.
